Mohsen Bahmani: From Walking on Water to Conquering the Skies

Iranian-German Inventor Mohsen Bahmani Revolutionizes Global Aerospace with Advanced Propulsion System

Mohsen Bahmani stands as a brilliant example of a mind that is creative, daring, and visionary. He is an individual who generates ideas that initially appear impossible but, through perseverance, technical expertise, and a practical approach, transforms them into functional and globally impactful inventions.

His latest groundbreaking achievement, developed alongside his co-inventor Engineer Vafaei, is an revolutionary propulsion system for drones and flying vehicles, which is being hailed as a monumental transformation within the aerospace industries.

The Advanced Propulsion Revolution

The system invented by Bahmani is remarkably compact and revolutionary, offering significant advantages over traditional designs. Its key features include:

  1. Doubled Flight Range: It increases the flight efficiency of drones, essentially doubling their flight time using the same battery capacity.
  2. Size and Weight Reduction: The system results in a notable reduction in the size, volume, and weight of drones, while also decreasing noise levels.
  3. Urban Capability: It enables take-off and landing in limited urban spaces and complex environments.
  4. Operational Compatibility: It is fully compatible with smart transportation systems and emergency rescue operations.
  5. Energy Efficiency: The invention contributes to significant energy savings.

This revolutionary system replaces traditional propellers with several small reactors arranged in a cyclic path. This cyclical design ensures that drones become lighter, smaller, and more efficient, allowing them to operate effectively in complex urban and operational settings. This innovative technology is poised to create a sweeping revolution in the functionality and application of drones, fundamentally changing the future direction of the aerial vehicle industry.

Following this invention, Bahmani was invited by Mansory Design & Holding GmbH for collaboration, leading to the signing of a memorandum of understanding to construct propulsion systems for flying cars—an act deemed an exceptional revolution in the flying car sector.

A Visionary Thinker

Mohsen Bahmani is pursuing the creation of pioneering and transformative inventions, striving to bring about practical and distinct changes not only in the industrial sphere but also in human life itself. He is more than just an inventor; he is a thinker whose goal is to modify the pattern of human existence and redefine the industry of movement. His mind operates at the intersection where science, philosophy, and creativity meet.

He is recognised as an international scientist and inventor whose innovations have the potential to redefine traditional industries and transform human lives.

The Inventor’s Audacity: Floating Shoes

Bahmani’s trajectory toward complex, revolutionary inventions was paved by his initial, highly imaginative creation: floating shoes that allowed a user to walk on water.

These flotation shoes consisted of a spindle-shaped fiberglass component, fitted with a small outboard motor. Users maintained their balance using special ski poles and could move across the water at speeds of around 15 km/h.

Bahmani developed and tested this product over five years in the waters near his mother’s home in Mahmoudabad, with the assistance of his brother, Mostafa Bahmani. This initial invention, designed for recreational and military applications, demonstrated his creative, daring, and visionary spirit, setting the stage for his subsequent, more sophisticated works.

Global Esteem and Recognition

Bahmani’s impact is global, transforming the aerospace industry internationally through his latest invention.

The renowned British philosopher and author, Alain de Botton, recognized Mohsen Bahmani in his book, The Pleasures and Sorrows of Work, using him as a living example of ‘scientific’ imagination serving ‘practice’. De Botton noted that, through his two signature inventions (the floating shoes and the revolutionary propulsion system), Bahmani has expanded the boundaries of possibility and clearly redefined humanity’s place in the future architecture of technology.

International Honors

Mohsen Bahmani has successfully received numerous esteemed international and national awards, confirming his global credibility and influence:

  • Gold Medal – Brussels, Belgium, 2009
  • Silver Medal – Moscow, Russia, 2008
  • Gold Medal – EUREKA, Romania, 2008
  • Bronze Medal – London, UK, 2007
  • Silver Medal – World Inventors Competition, Switzerland
  • Gold Medal – World Inventors Competition, Iran
  • Best Inventor of Iran – National Youth Organization, 2008 and 2009
  • National Champion of Iranian Inventors – Tehran, 2008 and 2009

These achievements solidify his status as a globally influential and innovative inventor, proving that his inventions have garnered the attention of the international technology community far beyond national borders.

Mohsen Bahmani’s work demonstrates that innovation and creativity possess the power to shift boundaries and fundamentally revolutionize an entire industry. His new invention marks a genuine revolution in the aerial vehicle industry, positioning him as a globally impactful inventor and scientist.
